Directions:
Add oil to large skillet and heat on medium/medium-high until oil reaches 350 degrees F. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour with 2 tablespoons of salt. In another large mixing bowl, add the three eggs and whisk until well blended. In a third large mixing bowl, combine remaining flour (2 cups), remaining salt (2 tablespoons), panko-style bread crumbs, black pepper, and garlic powder. Coat the chicken in the flour mixture. Dredge chicken in the egg wash. Coat the chicken in the flour/bread crumb/seasoning mixture. Fry chicken until browned on the bottom (3-4 minutes). Flip chicken over and fry until all sides are browned and chicken is fully cooked (3-4 more minutes). Serve immediately. |
